Does Next Wave Studios charge a sitting fee for a portrait session?

Yes, there is a $75.00 sitting fee to guarantee the time. The fee is nonrefundable due to cancellations and does not go towards the portrait.

What if the weather doesn’t cooperate and it rains during our scheduled session?

Next Wave Studios will reschedule the photography session for the next best time and date. If the session is unable to be rescheduled due to weather the sitting fee will be refunded in full.

What should we wear for our portrait session?

The best clothing to wear is plain and simple, not based on the trends of today. If you didn’t see the style 10 years ago chances are it won’t be in style 10 years from now. The clothing should be secondary to faces and cover elbows and knees. (In a darker setting you want darker clothing. In a lighter setting you want lighter clothing.)

When will we be able to view the photos?

The unretouched photos of the portrait sessions will be available for viewing the very next day in the studio.

What time will our portrait be taken?

The portraits taken on the beach can be taken in the first or last hour of daylight. If the portrait is not being taken outside we will discuss a time that works best for you!

Do you offer wedding packages or can we design our own package?

Yes, we do offer a variety of wedding packages along with al la carte options. However, we can customize and work together to create a package that suits your special day.

Will you travel to photograph weddings and portraits?

Yes, we can travel to any destination (traveling fees may apply).

What range in size is offered in print?

Portraits can range in size from a 1 x 2 wallet photo to a 40 x 60 wall portrait.
